Welcome!

Alternative dispute resolution has existed as a mechanism for hundreds, if not thousands, of years and has been constantly evolving throughout. Today the increase in caseload due to traditional litigation has made ADR a promising alternative and is thereby rapidly growing as a field of dispute resolution; lower costs, utmost confidentiality and greater control has made this an attractive alternative for companies and individuals alike.

Irrespective of the growing numbers we realize that there exists a lacuna of information portals, and this is where we come in. This blog will serve as an end point towards all information on ADR, the posts will cover legislations, doctrines and case comments from Indian and International aspects.

With this blog we intend to acquaint and bring, not only law students and legal practitioners, but each and every person closer to ADR.

“The courts should not be the places where resolution of disputes begins. They should be the places where the disputes end after alternative methods of resolving disputes have been considered and tried.”
